How do I set up my Brand DNA?

What is Brand DNA?

Brand DNA is a structured snapshot of your brand's identity - who you are, how you look, your colors, fonts and logo. BrandGen extracts it once and then applies it automatically to every image you generate in that project while the Brand DNA switch in the prompt bar is on.

Without Brand DNA, generated images match the text of your prompt but have no brand context. With Brand DNA, outputs feel like they belong together.

Two ways to add Brand DNA

You choose how to add your Brand DNA when you create a project, in the New project dialog. To start from a different brand image later, create a new project.

1. Upload a reference image

Drop a logo, hero image, marketing creative, or brand photo. BrandGen's extraction model reads the dominant colors, visual weight, and style of the image and turns them into structured brand context.

Tip: A finished design you have already published, like a social post or ad, is usually the best single input. It shows your logo, colors, fonts and style together. 2. Write guidelines manually

Choose Manual and type your brand guidelines into the Identity box (at least 15 characters). Be as specific or as general as you like. Examples: "Minimalist, high contrast, black and white with red accents. Photography-forward." or a full brand guide excerpt. You can also add optional Knowledge, like your audience, products and messages.
