Who owns my images, and can I use them commercially?
BrandGen doesn't claim ownership of what you upload or the images you generate. You're responsible for checking you have the rights for how you use them. Here is exactly what our Terms say.

Short answer: BrandGen doesn't claim ownership of what you upload or of the images you generate. Our Terms of Service say: "We do not claim ownership of your inputs or generated outputs." You're responsible for checking that you have the rights you need for how you plan to use them.
What do the Terms say about ownership?
From section 4, User Content and IP, of our Terms of Service:
"You retain ownership of brand assets, prompts, guidelines, and other content you upload or provide to BrandGen."
"We do not claim ownership of your inputs or generated outputs. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring you have the rights needed for your intended use."
Can I use my images commercially?
Our Terms don't claim ownership of your images. They leave it to you to make sure you have the rights for your intended use, commercial or not, and your use must follow the Acceptable Use rules in section 5. In practice:
- Your inputs need to be yours to use. The Terms say you may not "upload content you do not have the right to use".
- Review every image before you publish it. AI images can include unexpected details, like text, shapes or likenesses you didn't ask for.
- Watch out for other brands. Make sure an image doesn't show someone else's logo, trademark or product as if it were yours.
If you're unsure about a specific use, check with a legal adviser.
What does BrandGen do with my uploads?
To run the service, you give BrandGen a limited licence to "host, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate the Service, generate outputs, provide support, enforce these Terms, and honor your sharing settings."
Our also says: "BrandGen does not use your uploads, prompts, or generated outputs to train BrandGen-owned models."
